Other FAQ’s:

Below are some answers to frequently asked questions at the Williamsburg.

Q: I’m having some plumbing work done and need to have my plumber shut off the water to my building.

A: If you live on the West side please notify Linda Kempter at lindakempter@sbcglobal.net so that your building can be notified. If you live on the East side please notify Margaret Diehl at diehl_ml@yahoo.com so that all East side buildings can be notified. The water shut-offs for your building are the Dallas Water Utilities meter(s) with their locations as shown on the attached spreadsheet. Your meter(s) must be shut off by your plumber before the repair starts and turned back on when the repair is completed.

All water shut-offs require phone notification to First Service Residential Customer Service at 877-378-2388.

"We request 48 hour advance notice to Linda and to First Service Residential for all non-emergency water shut-offs."

Q: To whom do I report a service issue?

A: As always, the financial responsibility for a repair issue should first be determined by referring to the Williamsburg Associations' Maintenance Chart. If the issue is the responsibility of the Association, contact First Service Residential Customer Service at 877-378-2388.

Q: Who is responsible for the front and back porch and balcony lights?

A: The condominium owner is responsible for their back porch or balcony light. The Association replaces the front porch bulb as needed, if the owner has an approved bulb compatible fixture. Do NOT loosen or remove the bulb from their front porch and leave the area dark.
